Chalk, Kamilla, Kázmér, Don Pi, Messenger and Scriptum use the code they received from Professor Singlestone to unravel what happened on the last day in Othertown when something was still happening at all. This noteworthy day fell on Chalk's birthday, and the people of Othertown threw a huge party to celebrate it. The only person missing from the party was Scriptum. It was during this party that the writer realized: as long as no ideas come to his mind, he is unable to write anything, as a consequence.
