Niki Phelps

Nik Phelps is a Texas-born composer and multi-instrumentalist whose collaborators include Tom Waits, Frank Zappa, and They Might Be Giants. Active in film and animation since 1988, he founded the award-nominated Sprocket Ensemble in 1996, presenting live music with animated works at festivals worldwide. His scores and performances blend jazz, classical, and experimental styles, uniting music and image in acclaimed stage and screen productions across three decades.
